Full Blood Count
Why is this important

The Full Blood Count (FBC) provides important information about the different types of cells in your blood and can help identify patterns that may require further investigation.
🩸 Red Blood Cells – Measures red blood cells and haemoglobin, which are important for carrying oxygen around the body.
🫁 Haemoglobin & Red Cell Indices – Haemoglobin, MCV, MCH and MCHC provide information about the size and haemoglobin content of red blood cells and can help assess patterns associated with anaemia.
🦠 White Blood Cells – Measures different types of white blood cells, which are an important part of the immune system.
🔬 White Cell Differential – Lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils provide a more detailed picture of the different white blood cell populations.
🩹 Platelets – Platelets play an important role in normal blood clotting. Platelet count and Mean Platelet Volume provide additional information about platelet health.
🩸 A simple and valuable blood health check providing an overview of your red cells, white cells and platelets.
